My son’s fiancee asked me to fix the awful alteration sewn by the bridal shop onto her gorgeous lacy wedding gown, that was about to fall apart.
Learning how to make bouquets, corasages, and boutonnieres from a friend when my brother got married, I used the same techniques when my daughter got married.
A couple of weeks before their wedding, we created the reception centerpieces, which they carefully planned with deep meaning for their relationship.

At The Inn at Willow Grove we enjoyed another fancy elopement dinner, where they celebrated our elopement with a huge surprise!
After our Thomas Jefferson-esque elopement, we enjoyed dinner at a Charlottesville restaurant, also with Thomas Jefferson connections.
Planning an elopement resulted in major stress, until the doors opened at Prospect Hill Inn, which promised 18th century charm, tranquility, and ease.
I closed out the Lake Ridge chapter of my life at the nearby grove of elegant cherry blossoms, wafting ethereal shades of pink and white about me.
