After roasting a Black Lacquered Turkey, then years of flipping turkeys, I fell in love with spatchcocking a turkey! And we have a new turkey craft tradition!
My new sewing nook is everything I’ve dreamed, with great lighting and a floating tabletop that fills the space so no fabric falls to the ground.
The guest bedroom began as hot pink, then became grey and modern. After we married, I inherited it as my office which I’m turning to French Country.

Wanting to bring a bit of the ocean to our deck, I leaned towards aqua colors to coordinate with the metallic blue heron I had purchased for the garden.
Since the guest bathroom is French Country, I designed the master bathroom rustic beachy, to employ marble and Mid-century modern elements my husband likes.
Easily fitting into my basement sewing room with dimensions at 58″ wide and 82″ long, this large table top enables me to cut large lengths of fabric.
Wow! I love how the updated 18th century design transitions between the stark white of my sewing wall and the stark black of my library.
