Well, I’ve done enough teasing about decorating my small apartment without paint, so now that I’m moving, I should share a few of my favorite things…
Shortly after moving into my apartment last autumn, I happily began working in my new little sewing room filled with bright lights.
All about my Texas flag quilt and how we celebrate Texas Independence with Fiesta for ten days in San Antonio with gorgeous gowns and unique parades.
With this easy display of precut quilt sandwiches, I added some color to the dining area while freeing up lots of space in my small apartment.
Inspired by the 18th century garden in her backyard, Jinny Beyer designed this quilt of meandering paths through an assortment of flowers.
The year 2020 brought me someone new to love, my granddaughter! Amazingly born on Independence Day, she’s a Yankee Doodle Dandy! She’s so sweet!
I used lots of batiks with shadings of light and dark with blues and purples, allowing the light to bounce off in interesting ways depending on the time of day.
Laying out my stash of autumnal fabrics, I chose this lovely batik with multiple shadings of purple for my focus fabric. of the harlequin quilt.
After stashbusting my quilt fabrics with 26 quilt tops, I packed them by season into opaque plastic bins for the move to my new home.
After moving into my new apartment nearly two months ago, I quickly unpacked and organized a sewing space in my bedroom…since my son is in the other bedroom.
