Because of so many creations into which my kids invested much time and energy, they created memory books. (The one in the header is my daughter’s.)
These were first showcased at the last Becoming History Presentation for our guests to see.
Over the summer they decorated the notebooks using artistic themes learned.
Since the year was about the ancients, they used burlap for the cover and raffia ties.
Anything flat that they wanted to save was organized inside.
Since the cartouche was three-dimensional, yet totally cool, it was glued to the front.
For the back of the notebook, I printed the encouraging comments all the family members had made, who had seen the Becoming History Presentations either live, or via email.
