Join us at the grand opening of the Bluebonnet Ridge Academy Museum showcasing our dialectic study of history in the context of the Bible: Creation, the Great Flood, the Patriarchs, the Israelites in Egypt, and their Exodus.
For your dining pleasure there will be a feast of foods that the Ancients commonly enjoyed. However, we do not have access to any manna as that was specific to the Sinai Peninsula in that time.
On display will be the projects and papers that B and C have completed. They will be very happy to give you a tour of their projects, after presenting a short speech about what they have learned.
There will also be a surprise (furry) guest.
While at this presentation, ask as many questions as you want!
We plan to begin at 2pm.
Blessings,
Bluebonnet Ridge Academy
Dare we send this out? That has been the question the kids and I have tossed around during our dialectic studies.
We’ve been dressing up to share history/science stories for a few years, and I even did this with my public-school students.
My kids and I are so amazed at all the things we have learned (including me) with this classical dialectic interdisciplinary study, that we knew our extended family members would be excited.
Since my extended family lived nearby, we could easily invite them!
Also, I wanted to give my kids a fun public speaking opportunity.
For this first one we plan to keep everything simple by letting my kids be docents at our own museum of treasures of historical items we have learned.
This will be great!
Stay tuned!
