Feeling a bit like Inga in Dr. Frankenstein’s lab, I photographed my son’s latest experiment with Dr. Jay Wile for Chemistry I.
Today’s complexity entailed discovering the electrical conductivity of compounds dissolved in water.
However, my son quite simply stirred baking soda into distilled water, then inserted wires attached to a battery. (see header photo)
Bubbles resulted!
…as compared to sugar and distilled water in this set…
