We enjoyed a deliciously imaginative lunch surrounded by potted gardens full of sunflowers, tomatoes and zinnias, while overshadowed by Redwoods.
However, my husband’s greatest goal was to arrive at Myers Flat to drive through a tree…a tradition that has beckoned tourists as far back as the Model T Era.
As a result of the unique conditions along the Northern California coastline we were experiencing that morning, Redwoods are the tallest of any other trees.
