When my son saw that the Colonial Williamsburg Lafayette was giving a first person interpretation workshop in Annapolis, my son wanted to attend.
It served as the nation’s capital, at the end of the American Revolution, from November 26, 1783, to August 13, 1784, under the Articles of Confederation.
In between restorations World War II caused Smithsonian curators to safely store national treasures, such as the Star-Spangled Banner, in Luray, Virginia.
