Since I didn’t find a single curriculum booklist we needed/wanted, I simply edited and culled our own list.
Many of our books were found at the used bookstore.
Prior to attending this bookfair, I researched classical homeschool curricula. The bookfair gave me an opportunity to look at these options in person.
In short, classical education focuses more on the basics of the 3Rs with real books, instead of textbooks.
Here is a peak at some of the changes we made.
Jordan Wall, a high schooler who portrayed Joe Talbot, Wishbone’s teenage boy, engaged with the children enrapt with every word he shared about the tv show.
The key to one’s future is knowing how to read, which is the foundation of a classical education. Here are some things we did to help my struggling daughter.
Since my daugter struggled with learning to read, due to undiagnosed vision issues, I found real books more helpful than the regimen of the pithy textbooks.
