More and more I’m sewing 1950s dresses for daily wear, especially when sightseeing, which has resulted in many compliments.
Although they were always on my daunting “I could never do that” list, I discovered they are much easier to sew than expected.
Encouraged by the 18th century and couture sewing, I ventured into sewing contemporary garments again. Thus, my new dress that reflects the 1950s circle skirts.
Frustrated with contemporary sewing patterns, I have found reverting to home seamstress couture aka 18th century techniques much easier!
While planning her graduation photo op with the muslin that turned out well, I whipped out this more formal dress for upcoming events!
