After my kids’ pleas for historically accurate attire, I put needle to fabric while puzzling through agony, confusion, and woes.

My kids campaigned for me to sew proper attire for themselves and for myself, so we could experience being an 18th century family in Colonial Williamsburg.

All throughout town we also noticed children, who were guests, in costumes rented from Colonial Williamsburg. So my daughter wanted a gown too.
