Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens exhibit, The Style that Ruled the Empires: Russia, Napoleon and 1812, featured two amazing court gowns.
Parking at Union Station, we walked through the lobby where we discovered an amazing train display gifted by the Norwegian Embassy!
Then we saw some old movies from the 30’s, about the dog fights in WWI, which included Carey Grant and Fred Astaire in different movies!
We chose the voice of Lee, and we were on our way…to parts unknown had it been left to Lee.

In between restorations World War II caused Smithsonian curators to safely store national treasures, such as the Star-Spangled Banner, in Luray, Virginia.
Scrambling to see everything in a day, we enthusiastically conquered a lot!
