This year we have hung on to God through lots of new experiences, but He has given us lovely respites during Independence Day and again during Christmas.
When my kids found an abandoned bird’s nest in one of the trees, they insisted that was the tree for us, just like Mary Ellen Walton’s in The Homecoming.
Last year when I was at my kids’ Chick-fil-A Christmas party, I determined that I would make my first Buche de Noel for this year’s party!
For the remainder of the week, we’ll likely play lots of games by day and watch Christmas/New Year’s Eve combo movies each night…can’t get enough of it. 😉
